Just a quick reminder about the things we have going on this weekend:
23 May – the shop will be open from 09:30 to 13:00, no Humax compost yet, but we have loads of growbags and we still have a nice amount of manure. Also we have more six and eight foot bamboo canes! Please remember to bring your gloves and pay by contactless payment only.
Also on Saturday, allotment-holders can drop off fresh crops to the Memorial Garden for delivery to self-isolating households, and people who have surplus seedlings can also bring them to the Memorial Garden for sale on Sunday.
24 May – our Social Distancing plant sale in partnership with BHOGG! This will take place between 10:00 and 13:00 in the Memorial Garden, where you can select your plants to take to the shop to pay by contactless payment. We’ll be limiting access to the garden to ensure everybody’s safety but we hope it will still be a fun event. Plants are just 50 pence or £1.00 each, and all are welcome. Please remember to bring your gloves and a contactless payment card.
Also on Sunday, our wonderful Weald Community Fridge volunteer team will be picking up food bags to deliver all over the city, so one space in the car park will be reserved for them to collect their deliveries.
